Who We Are

Zion Lutheran Church is a confessional congregation affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). We’re a congregation that loves Jesus Christ and His Word, is committed to teaching the truth of God’s Word, and whose life together centers in the forgiveness of sins in Word and Sacrament.

Zion's worship follows the historic liturgy of the Church. The Divine Service here is reverent and joyful at the same time as we receive God’s gifts together and joyfully sing the great hymns and liturgy of the Church!

  • At Zion there is street parking north and west of the building and some parking spots on the east side. You can park in any of them. The best doors to come in are on the north side but you can also come in the east doors.

  • Our pastor will be right inside the doors when you arrive and will be glad to greet you, give you a bulletin, and answer any other questions.

  • Closed communion means that only confirmed members of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod are able to receive Holy Communion. Anyone is invited to come up during Communion and receive a blessing. If you desire to take Communion, our Pastor would be delighted to talk to you about it.

“You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.”

— Hebrews 12:22-24
